Shouting from the rooftops!!!!! A miracle has occured. Not only my precious Warrior Baby Sally- but every child on the Angel Tree has made their goal of $1000.00!!!
Thank you everyone who had donated and or prayed for this little one. Every dollar brings her one step closer to finding her family. And I have made some wonderful new friends along the way.
I will continue to advocate for Sally and all the other babies who need a voice.

Hope you all had a blessed day with family and friends. This sweet girl as of this afternoon has $607.00 in her grant fund. I am so grateful to all who have given to her. My prayer is that next year I will be fundraising for another little one because Sally will be home, under her own Christmas tree, with her new family.
Together we can make it happen~

As of this morning, this sweet baby has $500.00 in her account!! I am so happy to see that so many people want to see her get a family of her own! She is so deserving of the love of a Mama and Daddy. May God be kind enough to keep her in his care until they can come forward for her.

Lets see the sad face of this baby turn into smiles!! Lets see the day where she doesnt have to wear shared clothing~ a day where her pajamas dont have the orphanage number written on them in magic marker...

I am so happy to report that this sweet girl now has $400.00 in her Angel Tree acoount!! Each dollar gets her closer to finding a family, someone to love her, hug her, cuddle with her. Perhaps next year at this time she will know the love of a family. She will look out of her crib and see a Mama~ her Mama there to get her out. Due to dropping and breaking my camera at the most inopportune time of the year, I have no cute photos to show you. No new photos of Babuskas that I have sent out. But I am still here, trying to raise money for one sweet little girl who so needs to be in the arms of her family, a Mama who will tuck her in at nite, siblings to play with her, and a Daddy to protect her. I just saw that my sweet girls' grant has an additional $30.00 in it since this afternoon!!! Yeaaaaa!! She needs a home so badly. She will make someone a wonderful daughter. Please spread the word about the Angel Tree and her grant.
I recently got another photo of her. She looks like she was crying~ or maybe woken up from a nap.
But either way- this girl does not look happy. She so needs a family to love her!!

Here is some more info about her. She was born in September of 2008.

Little Sally has perinatal exposure to HIV; she was born slightly prematurely, at 35-36 weeks gestationally.

She was born with a heart defect; an open atrioventicular canal. Complete form of atria septal defect – 4 mm, membranous ventricular septal defect – 10 mm, circulatory insufficiency 0-1 We have no report of surgery at this time — so it would be imperitive to get her checked up by a cardiologist as soon as she comes home.

She also has some myopia (nearsightedness), so she'll need to see an ophthamologist once she's home, as well.

I was able to donate $35.00 yesterday to Sallys fund from the weekend donations!! Would'nt it be great if I could do this every day!!
Maybe instead of that $5.00 cup of coffee one day, a donation could be made to get this little girls grant up. She needs a family so desperately..

Craft Fair Donations

Yesterday was Holly Days, an annual craft fair we hold in my town each year. This was about the 5th year I participated. I thought it may be a good idea to have a donation box on my table with a photo of Sally and some general info about Reeces Rainbow.
I was able to collect some money for her, but overall, I was a bit surprised at the lack of interest in even reading the bit that I wrote. To the kind people that did stop and read, and did add something to her jar- Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was very much appreciated!!
I will be doing other things to raise money for her though. And I have at least one other craft fair coming up before Christmas.
